Position Summary
The Electrical Engineer is responsible for designing and drawing electrical panels in E-plan to ensure safe and efficient operation of water treatment installations. This role involves collaboration across departments and proactive contributions to process optimization.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and maintain electrical systems and symbol libraries in E-plan.
- Ensure timely and high-quality delivery of tested electrical panels according to standards.
- Collaborate with Project Managers, Electrical Engineers, Procurement, and Logistics.
- Provide proactive advice on mechanical design optimizations and instrumentation selection.
- Support service department and assist other teams when necessary.
- Conduct on-site checks at customer locations; perform line and insulation tests.
- Prepare and maintain documentation packages for projects.
- Ensure compliance with Ecolab safety guidelines and VGM rules.
- Complete administrative tasks (timesheets, expense reports) accurately and on time.
Qualifications
- MBO-level education in Electrical Engineering.
- VCA VOL safety certification.
- Valid driver’s license (Category B).
- Proficiency in Dutch and English (written and spoken).
- Experience reading technical drawings.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Familiarity with water treatment processes (preferred).
