Electrical Engineer

Our Electrical Engineering team puts the spark into the full hardware development lifecycle, from concept to production. It takes experts in system architecture definition, design, analysis, prototyping, sourcing & the debugging and validation of layouts or routes to deliver state-of-the-art products for a changing world. We work closely with designers, cross-functional teams within Dell Technologies and suppliers to make sure electronic designs meet a range of requirements, including schedule, feature set, functionality and quality, as well as industry standards.

What you’ll achieve
As an Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for driving innovation pushing the boundaries of next generation high speed signals in our servers.  The team members are accomplished industry experts with multiple patents and publications.  You will work with Dell internal engineering teams and lead Original Design Manufacturers (ODM) for DELL Core Power Edge Server and AI Server or Storage products.

You will:

  • Develop, test, and validate signal integrity simulation models in collaboration with silicon and component suppliers
  • Perform electrical analysis and simulations to define routing, material, and interconnect design constraints for high‑speed interfaces
  • Work cross‑functionally with Electrical Engineers, PCB Layout, and Simulation teams to ensure design compliance and manufacturability
  • Support design reviews and provide guidance based on signal integrity best practices
  • Assist with electrical validation test plans and help resolve signal integrity issues prior to product release

Essential Requirements

  • 1–2 years of electrical engineering experience (internships, co‑ops, or academic projects applicable)
  • Exposure to Signal Integrity concepts and 2D/3D/Power Integrity simulation tools
  • Experience using electrical test and measurement equipment
  • Understanding of analog and digital circuit fundamentals
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to influence technical decisions

Desirable Requirements

  • Ability to read and understand technical data sheets, circuit schematics and/or mechanical drawings
  • Bachelors electrical engineering

Compensation

Dell is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The base salary range for this position is $78,795 -$101,970
