Position Summary

In this role as a Control Room Supervisor, you'll oversee plant control rooms and electrical teams, ensuring safety compliance and continuous reliability. Manages SCADA monitoring, alarms, and equipment settings to optimize performance, while coordinating projects, tracking KPIs, and developing staff skills.

Here’s What You’ll Be Responsible For:

  • Provide guidance to control room operators and electricians, ensuring they follow safety and operational procedures.

  • Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the smooth flow of operations, the timely completion of projects and successful troubleshooting of issues to maintain reliability and redundancy.

  • Use control systems, like SCADA, to constantly monitor indicators for potential issues and escalate conditions of risk for resolution.  Respond promptly to alarms and abnormal readings, taking corrective actions to prevent damage and ensure safety.

  • Adjusts equipment parameters, and/or starts or stops equipment to maximize equipment efficiency within established specifications.

  • Manage achievement operational objectives and key results using relevant key performance indicators while developing staff competency and growth.

Here's what you'll need:

  • High School Diploma or GED is required; with some college or trade school preferred.

  • Demonstrated ability to lead complex teams to achieve results and continuously improve / innovate.

  • 6+ years of experience required with SCADA, high to medium voltage operations and outage management.

  • Knowledge of complex switching, lockout, tagging and load monitoring procedures.

  • Strong knowledge of the NFPA 70E as it applies to industrial installations, OSHA 10 certificate preferred.

  • Strong understanding of electrical distribution system and single line diagrams.

The current base salary range for this role is between $69,070 - $127,770. Individual base pay rates will depend on factors including duties, work location, education, skills, qualifications and experience. Total compensation for this position will include a competitive benefits package and may include participation in company incentive compensation programs, which are based on factors to include organizational and individual performance.
