Electric Utility Data Analyst

Leidos Engineering is seeking a Data Analyst to join our Strategic Program Consulting team within our Power Delivery Solutions division. In this role, you will work alongside engineering and project management teams to provide Project Management Services supporting a large electric utility client. This position requires periodic travel to client offices throughout New England, so candidates must be located in the Northeastern Unites States in order to successfully execute the position. This allows us to best serve our localized utility clients as needed.

Key Responsibilities will include developing & maintaining project reporting to track and monitor the performance of the relevant organizations. The Data Analyst will be responsible for analytical/reporting related tasks to aid in efficient monitoring of project costs, trends, and schedules to track the overall health of the project.

This role will support a critical project portfolio in MA and support the implementation of Strategic vision of the PMO. The individual will work with the Project Managers to perform cost and schedule analysis, develop/maintain Risk Registers, develop monthly reports and PowerPoint slides for Executive reporting.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business, Finance, or related field required
  • 5+ years of experience in a Data Analytics role
  • Demonstrated experience with transformation of data, and performance of compliance reviews & data validation
  • Proven Familiarity with Primavera P6 required
  • Candidates with background in utility construction and/or experience in the electric utility indusry will be strongly preferred
  • Knowlegde of project management and project controls concepts is preferred
  • Ability to demonstrate strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to travel periodically as required

Pay Range:

Pay Range $63,700.00 - $115,150.00
