Job Description

As a Sustainability Intern, you will play a crucial role in supporting our team in various projects and energy modeling initiatives. This internship provides a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the intersection of sustainability and engineering, contributing to the development of solutions that address environmental challenges.
 

About the Role
 

Project Support:

  • Assist engineers in the planning, execution, and monitoring of sustainability projects.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the integration of sustainable practices in project development.
     

Green Building or Energy, Water, Waste Assessment

  • Participate in green building and energy audit activities, including data collection, analysis, and interpretation.

  • Work closely with engineers to assess the environmental impact of various projects and identify opportunities for improvement.
     

Data Analysis and Reporting:

  • Compile and analyze data related to energy consumption, emissions, and other sustainability metrics.

  • Perform data analysis and evaluate equipment performance with respect to energy efficiency and green building standards.

  • Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations to communicate findings and recommendations.
     

Research and Innovation:

  • Stay abreast of industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in sustainability and energy modeling.

  • Contribute to the identification and implementation of innovative and sustainable solutions.
     

Collaboration:

  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to gather information, share insights, and foster a culture of sustainability.

About You:

  • Currently pursuing a diploma or degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, Sustainable Built Environment, or related field.

  • Strong interest and passion for Sustainability

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with proficiency in data analysis tools and software.

  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.

  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.

  • Eagerness to learn and take initiative.
