Job Description Summary

We are seeking a motivated, detail-oriented, and proactive Summer Intern to join the Mele Storage Group. This role provides direct exposure to live deals, underwriting, and marketing execution within a self-storage investment sales team. This is an in-person role, 5 days per week.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist brokers and team members in executing live transactions across underwriting, marketing, and due diligence.
  • Conduct market research, comp analysis, and data collection to support deal strategy.
  • Support underwriting by building and reviewing basic financial analyses and validating key assumptions.
  • Assist in preparing client reports and marketing materials with a high standard of accuracy.
  • Support deal tracking and coordination, including managing timelines and organizing materials.
  • Maintain databases with accurate and up-to-date property and pipeline information.

Qualifications:

  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's program in Real Estate, Finance, Business, or related field.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and work with data efficiently.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; experience with mapping or design tools is a plus.
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.

The company will not pay less than minimum wage for this role.


The compensation for the position is: $17.00 - $20.00
