Job Description

Join Cushman & Wakefield’s dynamic Hospitality team, supporting high-impact real estate transactions and advisory projects across Spain and Europe. This internship offers hands-on experience in hotel investment, consultancy, and operator selection, contributing to the firm’s strategic growth in the hospitality sector.

Key Responsibilities:

Working primarily on hotel advisory, operator search and transactions in Spain. You will assist senior professionals in a range of activities including:

Investment & Advisory Support

  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis across hotel markets.

  • Assist in feasibility studies, underwriting exercises, and operational reviews.

  • Create content and support the preparation or marketing materials, data rooms, client proposals and presentations.

  • Analyse operating proposals for deal structuring and investment proposals.

  • Participate in negotiations and review of hotel management/lease/sale purchase agreements.

  • Participate in due diligence processes and financial performance analysis.

  • Contribute to broker’s opinion of value and strategic recommendations.

  • Maintain internal databases of investors, operators, transactions and pipeline assets.

Client Engagement & Marketing

  • Attend client and investor meetings, providing project-related support.

  • Help coordinate PR efforts and enhance team visibility through digital platforms (e.g., LinkedIn, HospitalityNet).

Required Qualifications and Experience

  • Graduating student with relevant hospitality qualification.

  • Experience in hospitality or hotel operations advantageous

  • Spanish ID or NIE or legal permit for internship in Spain

Key Skills

  • Good IT skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Powerpoint, Excel) and ideally Salesforce

  • Good financial modelling skills

  • Willing to step forward to take on new tasks and responsibilities

  • Fast learner

  • Operates to high standards, eliminating errors in own work through care and good organisation

  • Effective time manager

  • A natural communicator and team-player

  • Fluent in Spanish and English
