EHS Systems Manager II

Position Overview

Based in Milwaukee and reporting to the VP EHS, the EHS Systems Manager will play a key role across the organization in achieving the company’s EHS goals, with the focus on continuously improving Regal Rexnord’s EHS management system, reducing injuries and incidents and driving cultural improvements. 

In this role, you will work with a diverse team across our global manufacturing and distribution footprint in the execution of our EHS strategy.  You will be responsible for maintaining and improving Regal Rexnord’s EHS Management system SharePoint site, information management systems and other EHS applications.  You will create various EHS reports and analyze data trends in addition to training and coaching leaders on standard work practices.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain and drive continuous improvements related to Regal Rexnord’s enterprise EHS information management systems, applications and EHS SharePoint site
  • Work with a diverse team to develop standard operating procedures and associated documents in line with Regal Rexnord’s EHS management system
  • Develop, implement and lead training programs and processes to improve the skill sets of site EHS professionals and other leaders
  • Conduct periodic site level audits to ensure data reporting and accuracy
  • Report key metrics and provide trend analysis
  • Train associate's in data reporting requirements and standard operating procedures
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement processes and technologies that support the organization’s EHS strategy, goals, and targets
  • Provide incident and injury investigation, incident reporting management and case strategic direction and oversight for the facility, to include workers’ compensation management.
  • Ensure compliance with Federal, State, Local requirements and policies
  • Provide oversight, audit readiness and mentorship for compliance audits and corrective action management.
  • Assist in developing leading indicators that drive continuous improvement in injury prevention and the EHS Management System.
  • Administer online contractor safety management databases ISN & Avetta.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in safety, environmental or related fields
  • Must be a persistent self-starter who can work effectively and lead others with minimum oversight.
  • Incumbent must be able to work effectively with all levels in the organization and with individuals outside of the company.
  • Requires practical knowledge in leading and managing processes, projects, and tactics within the EHS field
  • Progressive experience in an EHS Professional role managing information management systems and cloud-based applications
  • Demonstrated expertise in safety and environmental regulations and consensus standards (OSHA, EPA, ISO 14001, 45001), as well as proficiency in inspection procedures, conducting audits, hazard assessments, incident prevention, investigation methodologies, and the development and delivery of safety and environmental education and training programs.

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

  • Proficiency in the use of computers with knowledge of MS office products including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
  • Ability to coordinate multiple projects
  • Manufacturing experience is a plus
  • Travel as needed, no more than 20%.
