EHS Specialist
As the EHS Specialist, you are responsible for administering an effective EHS program and for reporting on matters concerning accidents involving property damage, serious injuries and the findings pertaining to equipment accidents, incidents and near misses.
Location: Middleburg Heights, OH (onsite)
Salary: $65,000 - $80,000

Your Challenge:
Oversees the development, planning, and implementation of environmental, health and safety policies; develops procedures (chemical safety, ergonomics, illness and injury prevention, and building safety) used throughout the company.
Develops and oversees company training programs for employees in areas such as compliance training, lab/plant inspection, hazardous material handling, emergency response, industrial hygiene, and life safety.
May be the point of contact for emergency personnel and manage workers compensation program administration.
Oversees licensed hazardous and radioactive waste disposal and monitors waste handling.
Selects, develops, and evaluates personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function.
What You Bring:
2-4 years of relevant EHS experience
Machining experience required, with the ability to support safety practices in a production or shop-floor environment
CSP, ASP, or GSP certification preferred
Demonstrated knowledge of OSHA and EPA regulations
