職務概要

当社の環境・安全・衛生(EHS)部門において、生産施設における安全管理全般を担当します。設備・工事・保守作業に伴う安全リスクの低減、法令および社内安全基準の遵守を通じて、

事故・災害の未然防止と安全で持続可能な職場環境の構築を推進する役割です。

主な業務内容

  • 生産施設・設備に関する安全基準・手順(PTWLOTO、高所作業、閉鎖空間、電気安全等)の策定、維持、改善
  • 工事・設備保守・改造作業における安全管理およびリスクアセスメントの実施・支援
  • 労働安全衛生法、建設・設備関連法規、社内EHS基準に基づくコンプライアンス対応
  • 事故・ヒヤリハットの調査、原因分析および再発防止策の立案・実行
  • 請負業者(コントラクター)およびベンダーに対する安全管理、教育、現場パトロール
  • 新規設備導入、設備変更、工事計画時の安全レビューおよび事前リスク評価
  • 安全教育・トレーニング(設備安全、作業安全、請負業者向け教育等)の企画・実施
  • グローバルEHS安全基準および国際規格との整合性確保、関係部門との連携

応募資格

  • 工学(機械・電気・建築等)、安全工学、衛生工学、または関連分野の学士以上
    または上記分野以外の学士であっても、実務で同等と見なせる知識・経験がある方
  • 日本語能力として、JLPT N3 以上を必須とし、N2 以上の資格保持者を歓迎
  • 労働安全衛生法、設備・工事安全、請負業者管理に関する基礎知識
  • 製造業・生産施設・建設/設備工事における安全管理経験
  • リスクアセスメント、現場安全パトロール、事故調査の実務経験
  • (歓迎)
    • 衛生管理者、安全管理者、建設業関連安全資格
    • ISO45001 内部監査員、電気安全・機械安全関連資格
    • 工場・クリーンルーム・大規模施設でのEHS経験

Job Summary

The EHS Safety Engineer is responsible for overall safety management of production facilities within the Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) organization.

This role focuses on reducing safety risks associated with equipment, construction, and maintenance activities, and ensuring compliance with applicable laws and internal safety standards.

The position plays a key role in preventing accidents and incidents, and in establishing and maintaining a safe and sustainable work environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain, and continuously improve safety standards and procedures related to production facilities and equipment
    (e.g., Permit to Work (PTW), Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), work at height, confined space, electrical safety)
  • Provide safety management support and conduct risk assessments for construction, equipment maintenance, and modification activities
  • Ensure compliance with the Industrial Safety and Health Act, construction- and equipment-related regulations, and internal EHS standards
  • Investigate accidents and near-miss incidents, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective and preventive actions
  • Manage safety performance of contractors and vendors, including safety education and on-site safety patrols
  • Conduct safety reviews and pre-task risk assessments for new equipment installation, equipment changes, and construction planning
  • Plan and deliver safety education and training programs (equipment safety, work safety, contractor safety, etc.)
  • Ensure alignment with global EHS safety standards and applicable international standards, and collaborate with relevant internal stakeholders

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Architectural, etc.), Safety Engineering, Industrial Hygiene, or a related field
    or a bachelor’s degree in another discipline with equivalent knowledge and experience gained through practical work
  • Japanese language proficiency of JLPT N3 or higher is required; JLPT N2 or higher is preferred
  • Basic knowledge of the Industrial Safety and Health Act, equipment and construction safety, and contractor safety management
  • Experience in safety management at manufacturing sites, production facilities, or construction/equipment projects
  • Practical experience in risk assessment, on-site safety patrols, and accident investigation
  • Preferred qualifications:
    • Safety Officer, Industrial Safety Manager, or construction safety-related certifications
    • ISO 45001 Internal Auditor, electrical safety or machinery safety-related certifications
    • EHS experience in factories, cleanrooms, or large-scale facilities

  • Ability to communicate at a basic level in English
  • Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset
