Who You Are:
You’re a proactive, collaborative leader who’s passionate about creating safe, healthy, and efficient workplaces. You thrive in fast-paced environments, enjoy partnering across departments, and take pride in shaping a culture where safety and sustainability are part of everyday operations.

What You’ll Do:

As the EHS Manager for the East Region at Curaleaf, you’ll drive safety, health, and environmental initiatives across multiple facilities — building programs that protect people, ensure compliance, and support operational excellence. You’ll be both a strategic partner and a hands-on leader, helping drive continuous improvement and fostering a culture where safety comes first. In this role, you will:

  • Partner with site management to lead the development and enforcement of site-specific EHS policies to ensure full compliance with safety, environmental, and operational standards across all facilities
  • Collaborate with corporate EHS leadership and site management while actively engaging in the broader EHS network to share best practices, strengthen compliance, and drive continuous improvement in safety and environmental performance
  • Conduct proactive risk assessments and incident investigations, implementing corrective actions to prevent workplace injuries, promote employee well-being, and minimize environmental impact
  • Oversee the design and delivery of EHS programs and training to promote awareness, reduce risk, and strengthen safety culture, while developing and implementing emergency preparedness and annual action plans across all sites
  • Manage facilities operations to ensure safety, efficiency, and compliance, optimizing the performance and maintenance of buildings, equipment, and utilities

What You’ll Bring:

  • 7+ years of experience in Environmental Health & Safety, Facilities Management, Compliance, or a related field
  • You hold a minimum of an OSHA 30 certification and apply your strong understanding of OSHA, EPA, and DEP regulations to maintain compliance and champion a culture of safety and accountability
  • You have a proven track record in leading EHS programs and facility operations, driving compliance, safety, and operational excellence
  • You’re a strong leader who drives change, builds engagement, and fosters a culture of safety, collaboration, and continuous improvement
  • You’re proactive, adaptable, and solutions-driven, with the ability to motivate others while upholding high ethical standards and living Curaleaf’s core values

Even Better If:

  • You have EHS experience within corporate, manufacturing, or industrial settings, with a background in food or beverage processing environments

Environmental Conditions

  • Exposure to environments with high humidity, varying temperatures, and strong odors (such as cannabis)
  • Exposure to soil, water, fertilizer, dust, pollen and plant pathogens
  • Exposure to cleaning solvents, such as high volumes of isopropyl alcohol
  • Exposure to loud noises, including but not limited to air compressors, packaging equipment, and alarms
