Environmental Health & Safety Multi-Site Manager – Fontana, CA-Chino, CA-Pico Rivera, CA-(Onsite)

Job Summary:
Allegion Hollow Metal is seeking a results-driven EHS Manager to lead our Fontana-based Environmental, Health, and Safety program, with responsibility for the Chino and Pico Rivera locations as part of a multi-site operation. This role blends strategic leadership with hands-on execution to create a safe, compliant, and healthy workplace while ensuring safe, on-time production of hollow metal doors and frames and upholding rigorous risk management and environmental stewardship. You will own and drive the Fontana site’s EHS performance across incident prevention, regulatory compliance, training, audits, contractor safety, and sustainability, and partner with operations, maintenance, quality, and HR to embed safety into planning, change management, and daily work.
What You Will Do:
Maintain accurate and complete EHS metrics and establish continuous improvement strategies to ensure short- and long-term goals and Allegion initiatives are met.
Investigate and analyze all incidents and identify root cause(s), contributing factor(s) and systemic causes. Work with Safety Committees to develop and implement corrective action plans. Evaluate first aid, near misses, recordable accidents and potential environmental threats to drive corrective actions on time and proactive programs to prevent future incidents.
Organize Kaizens to detect, reduce or eliminate safety, health and/or environmental hazards through job safety analyses or other approved methods. Determine corrective or preventive measures and follow-up to ensure measures have been implemented and standardized work is implemented.
Partner closely with internal cross-functional stakeholders at all levels to communicate, secure support, inform the facility of safety compliance risks and gain alignment on priorities. Partner with teams or project coordinators implementing change to ensure EHS risk assessments are conducted, and effective controls are included in the change management process.
Obtain, update, maintain, and audit EHS procedures, plans, permits, and standard operating procedures. Develop and oversee effective emergency preparedness and response programs.
Create employee engagement through Safety Committees and other teams to reduce hazards and create a safer and environmentally friendly work environment.
Direct site environmental, health, and safety audits and inspections for applicable properties and communicate the findings, with recommendations to facility managers and other management.
Develop, coordinate and lead training and awareness programs throughout the organization as defined by regulations, policies or incident trends. Develop, coordinate, and lead industrial hygiene programs and medical monitoring programs as required by local regulation.
Ensure timely and accurate submittal of regulatory and internal reports.
Effectively lead an internal team to achieve EHS and Risk Management goals.
Oversee and support workers compensation program administration, including return to work programs.
Ensure compliance with Federal, State and Municipal EHS regulations, regulatory permits and Corporate EHS requirements including but not limited to Hazardous Waste, Wastewater, Air, DOT, RCRA, Storm Water, and OSHA. Stays current with pending regulations to ensure future compliance.
Management of the sites’ SDS databases for completeness and accuracy.
Support external and internal auditing processes for other sites.
Interface with external regulatory bodies to ensure legal / policy compliance and participate in any subsequent communication to stakeholders within the business.
Ensure business growth by leading risk management and EHS productivity enhancements.
Support the Americas Regional EHS Manager in delivering EHS improvement at assigned sites.
Implement and enforce effective health, safety and environmental requirements and policies for contractors and visitors.
Implementing security protocols at assigned locations.
Other duties as assigned.
What You Need to Succeed:
Bachelor’s degree in environmental engineering, industrial hygiene, management, or related science.
5+ years of experience in environmental health and safety in a manufacturing setting.
Excellent communication, interpersonal and teambuilding skills.
Proven ability to work effectively with all levels in a matrix organization.
Demonstrated ability to handle multiple priorities and use sound judgment.
Exceptional project management skills.

Environmental Compliance
Workers’ Compensation & Return-to-Work programs
Sustainability, Climate Initiatives & Reporting
Professional certification or designation preferred (CSP, CIH, CHMM, or CEM)
Application knowledge of International Building Code, FM Global, and NFPA standards and regulations is a plus.
ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 or OHSAS 18001 experience is a plus.

Compensation: This range is provided by Allegion. Your actual pay will be based on your skills and experience.
The expected Base Salary Range: $112,000-$158,000. The actual compensation will be determined based on experience and other factors permitted by law.
