Overall Role
The EHS Coordinator supports the Regional EHS Manager in daily operations, providing EHS expertise to local teams. Responsibilities include managing risk assessments, maintaining documentation, assisting with audits and training, supporting the Global Ergonomics program, and monitoring EHS performance. The role also involves liaising with local authorities and supporting regional EHS initiatives as needed. (10:00-19:00)
Duties & Responsibilities
Support the Regional EHS Manager with day-to-day EHS operations as required.
Act as the EHS subject matter expert and provide support to local business partners.
Complete and maintain company risk assessments in compliance with local regulations.
Maintain routine up-to-date documentation, recordkeeping, hazard assessments, and health safety audits.
Support day-to-day operational needs during facility or workplace-related incidents or emergencies. Serve as the first point of contact for incident reporting; ensure incidents are documented, investigated, and closed out.
Support onsite health/wellbeing programs (e.g., vaccinations, ergonomic assessments, wellness events).
Liaise and report to the local authorities as necessary.
Assist with the production and delivery of EHS training programs.
Support the Global Ergonomics program as required.
Support the EHS regional audit and inspection program.
Monitor EHS performance and provide analytical updates as required.
Conduct local EHS inspections of the office premises, including but not limited to workstations, meeting rooms, and shared spaces.
Liaise with internal teams (Corporate Services, etc.) to ensure alignment with EHS practices.
Support the local EHS committee and prepare materials for monthly EHS updates (as applicable).
Other duties as assigned by EHS Leadership.
Candidate Specification
Bachelor’s degree in environment, health and safety, engineering, or related field. Note: Applicants with the relevant experience and professional certificates, such as NEBOSH, will be considered.
Registration with any locally required bodies or government agencies. ASP or CSP preferred.
Good working knowledge of local regulatory requirements; general and construction standards.
Minimum 2 years of experience working in a similar regulatory role.
Able to work independently and drive results.
Strong communication skills.
Ability to influence key stakeholders and build relationships.
Strong computer-based skills, able to produce reports and working documents to an exceptional standard.
Strives for continuous improvement.
Flexible schedule to meet the needs of the business.
English working language. Proficiency in mandarin a bonus.
