EHS Analyst

Supports plant environmental, health and safety (EHS) program which includes but not limited to facility compliance with applicable laws, regulations and Solenis policies and procedures. Drive continuous improvement in EHS programs, including, compliance documentation, emergency response organization, and people development.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the management, implementation and maintenance of all EH&S programs including RC/14001 compliance at the site level.

  • Help support and lead change associated with improving environmental performance under CAA, CWA, RCRA, CERCLA, TSCA, SARA regulations and improving safety and health performance under OSHA regulations.

  • Support all EHS training initiatives for the site and the online learning management system for the site.

  • Additionally, this position may require some off hours on-call availability.

Competencies:

  • Strong communication, computer, leadership, people development and decision-making skills, willingness to learn, flexibility to adjust to changing situations, good organization skills with the ability to handle a variety of things simultaneously, and the willingness to take risks and be held accountable.

  • Must have knowledge of manufacturing operations, and equipment usage.

  • Must possess good written and oral communication skills and be able to work with all levels of management.

  • Must provide development, coaching, and counseling to employees

  • Proven leadership experience.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: 1-5 Years EHS experience at plant level preferred

  • Education: BS Engineering and or Science, Chemistry, and or Occupational Safety, Health and Environment related fields of study.

  • Training: Strong knowledge of EHS regulations; OSHA, CAA, CWA, RCRA, SARA, TSCA, CERCLA and DOT, Solenis Corporate Policies and other specific regulations as needed.

The expected compensation range for this position is between $70,250.00 and $117,080.00 plus discretionary bonuses. The exact compensation may vary based on your skills, experience and other factors permitted by law.
