EHS Advisor

The Role: 

• This role is responsible for efficiently implementing EHS programs, ensuring full compliance with relevant regulations and Entegris Corporate EHS standards within Tokyo area.  

• This role will collaborate closely with the Japan EHS team, manufacturing plant EHS representatives and supervisors to proactively identify, prevent, and address potential environmental, health, and safety issues.  

• This position is located at Tokyo.

In this role you will: 

• Maintain compliance with national and local environmental, health and safety regulations. 

• Lead the implementation of Entegris Corporate EHS requirements such as EHS Inspection, GEMBA Walk, Committee Meeting 

• Provide EHS guidance and compliance support to Tokyo site leaders to ensure compliance with regulatory & Entegris Corporate EHS requirements. 

• Proactively drive continuous improvement in EHS performance and programs. 

• Conduct incident / accident investigations and develop corrective and preventative action plans. 

• Organize employee EHS training, assist in EHS audits, and maintain EHS records. 

• Assist in the Japan EHS documents control and some translation of English documents

• EHS検査、GEMBAウォーク、委員会会議など、Entegris企業のEHS要件の実施を主導します 

• 東京の現場リーダーに対し、規制およびEntegris Corporate EHS要件の遵守を確保するため、EHSガイダンスとコンプライアンス支援を提供します。 

• EHSのパフォーマンスやプログラムにおいて、積極的に継続的な改善を推進すること。 

• 事故・事故調査を実施し、是正および予防措置計画を策定します。 

• 従業員のEHS研修を企画し、EHS監査を支援し、EHS記録を管理します。 

• 日本のEHS文書管理および英語文書の翻訳支援 

Traits we believe make a strong candidate: 

• Appropriate country EHS qualification/certifications for chemical handling and waste management 

• Bachelor Degree in Safety, Environmental, Electrical, Mechanical, or Chemical Engineering, or related technical discipline 

• 2 years' experience on managing EHS compliance and/or programs  

• Compliance experience with EHS regulations, ISO14001 & 45001,  

• Ability to earn trust, maintain positive and professional relationships 

• Knowledge of JSA, LOTO, area classification, etc 

• Basic computer knowledge, including MS Office; 

• Basic written and verbal communication skills in English.

• 安全、環境、電気、機械、化学工学、または関連技術分野の学士号 

• EHSコンプライアンスおよび/またはプログラムの管理に2 年間の経験 

• EHS規制、ISO14001・45001、などのコンプライアンス経験 

• 信頼を築き、良好かつプロフェッショナルな関係を維持する能力 

• JSA、LOTO、地域分類などの知識 

• MS Officeを含む基本的なコンピュータ知識、 

• 英語での基本的な書き言葉および口頭コミュニケーション能力
