Busy Bees at Everton Hills is seeking a dedicated and flexible Part-Time Kitchen & Educator Support team member to join our hive.
This is a dual-role position ideal for a qualified Early Childhood professional who enjoys variety in their day — supporting in the kitchen when required while also working alongside Educators on the floor to deliver high-quality care and learning experiences.
Assist with meal preparation and food service
Support safe food handling and hygiene practices
Maintain a clean and compliant kitchen environment
Follow dietary requirements, allergies and nutrition guidelines
Assist with stock rotation and basic kitchen organisation
Support the implementation of engaging learning programs aligned with the EYLF
Supervise and interact positively with children
Assist with daily routines including mealtimes and rest periods
Maintain a safe, nurturing and inclusive environment
Build positive relationships with children, families and colleagues
To be successful in this role, you will have:
Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (ACECQA approved)
Current QLD Blue Card (Working with Children Check)
Previous kitchen or food preparation experience
Knowledge of safe food handling practices (Food Safety Certificate highly regarded)
Strong teamwork and communication skills
A flexible, proactive and positive attitude
