As a leader on the education and quality team, the Educational Quality Senior Manager leads a group of education and quality professionals to provide strategic support and resources to Bright Horizons centers related to education and quality goals and initiatives. This includes, but is not limited to, managing center accreditation, QRIS compliance, internal and external evaluation tools, program assessment data collection and management. This role will also support successful implementation of education team priorities, including child assessment, teaching methods and instructional practices, curriculum implementation, inclusion, and more.

This is a Remote position available in the United States.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of education and quality managers while also providing direct support to centers

  • Serve as a change agent using a variety of methods to improve adoption and fidelity of key education programs, resources, & initiatives

  • In partnership with department training teams, build educator and program leader knowledge & skills through communication, support, resource development. and other identified methods

  • Lead internal and external quality measurement tool development and management

  • Lead NAEYC accreditation commitment

  • Have a high-level of understanding of Discovery Driven Learning program, expectations, and all related resources. Identify needs and lead efforts to improve or enhance Discovery Driven Learning

  • Facilitate virtual or in-person training, as assigned

  • Manage rigorous evaluation, measurement, and reporting expectations to inform strategy and effectiveness

  • Lead and manage employees, special workgroups or teams, and forge collaborative partnerships with other internal teams such as focus groups, and special project teams

  • Must be willing to travel up to 30% and occasionally with limited notice

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in related field

  • 5 years in ECE teaching and/or operations, including time in a leadership role

  • 5 years experience in supporting program quality efforts

  • Travel up to 30%

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Masters Degree

  • Time in a leadership role of a remote team

  • Strong background in early childhood pedagogy.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet expected deadlines.

  • Excellent organizational skills, including developing systems.

  • Proven ability to collect and analyze data.

  • Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills.

  • Must be an effective and proven project manager.

  • Must be able to balance quality and urgency.

  • Must have proven facilitation skills.

Compensation:

The annual salary for this position is between $99,000 – $110,000 annually. The pay range listed here is what Bright Horizons in good faith anticipates offering for this job opening. Actual compensation offers within this range will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education and training, certifications, geography, and other relevant business or organizational factors.

This position is also eligible for our bonus plan.

Also, depending on hire date and subject to applicable eligibility requirements and accrual schedules, new employees in this role receive up to: 9 paid holidays annually; 40 hours of sick time per year based on full-time schedule, and 120 hours of vacation time per year based on full-time schedule (vacation time may be used for sick leave purposes under any applicable state or local sick or safe time law).
