Overview:

Sentara Simulation Center in Chesapeake, VA,  is currently hiring an Education Specialist.

Hours/Shift:

Full-time 40 hours per week

On-site in Chesapeake, VA

Position Overview:

The Education Specialist performs a variety of computer and education project development/management tasks to meet the needs of the educational services to the facility.  The Education Specialist is responsible for classroom and clinical instruction of students to include but not limited to developing and providing classroom and clinical learning experiences; teaching, coaching and mentoring on the clinical unit; tutoring of and practicing with students; and evaluating student performance. The Education Specialist also may collaborate with accredited educational institutions to coordinate the placement of students within the organization.

Requirements:

-Bachelor’s Degree

-2 years related work experience
