Role Title: Education Administration Assistant

Department and Location: Support Services (Education), St Vincent’s Private Hospital Melbourne (Albert Street)
ABOUT YOUR NEW ROLE:
The Education Administration Assistant provides essential secretarial and administrative support to the Education team. This role is critical in ensuring the smooth operation of orientation for new staff and supporting key educational processes, The position directly impacts the delivery of quality orientation for new staff across St Vincent's Private Hospitals, Melbourne, enabling the team to focus on strategic education initiatives while ensuring administrative excellence and compliance.
Primarily, the role will be responsible for coordinating the orientation program for new staff, including scheduling, room bookings, materials preparation, participant communication and evaluations. They will also provide general administrative support where required.
ABOUT YOU:
Essential
Demonstrated secretarial and administrative experience in a busy office environment
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, Forms)
Strong customer service skills with ability to interact professionally with diverse stakeholders
Excellent organizational skills with proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
High level of written and verbal communication skills
Demonstrated problem-solving abilities and capacity to work autonomously
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record keeping
Commitment to confidentiality and handling sensitive information appropriately
Desirable
Previous experience in a healthcare or education environment
Event coordination and project management experience
