In this role, you will:
Strong SAP MM Functional consultant with SAP MDG functional expertise
Manage and configure SAP Material Master data to support procurement, inventory, and supply chain processes
Ensure accurate material records, optimize workflows, and align SAP MM configurations with organizational requirements.
Facilitate implementation and support of SAP Material Master objects.
Perform detailed analysis of complex business processes; identify, interpret, validate, and document requirements.
Conduct workshops to collect business requirements and map them to SAP solutions.
Act as liaison with clients for troubleshooting, investigating, and resolving software issues.
Document functional designs, test cases, and results for Material Master projects.
Proactively propose business process/system enhancements and provide consulting services for new and existing projects.
Provide ad-hoc training and user support.
Lead delivery of assigned projects, define project plans, track deliverables, and manage internal/external stakeholders.
Collaborate with architects to ensure fit-for-purpose Master Data Models aligned with industry standards and S/4 HANA architecture.
Drive vendor management and oversee day-to-day delivery
Essential Functions:
SAP S/4 MM Expertise – Deep understanding of MM objects and CRUD processes across regions; drive globally harmonized process models.
Data Migration – Lead document migration scope and communications across stakeholders.
S/4 HANA Solution Alignment – Strong knowledge of SAP landscape and S/4 master data.
Business Data Modeling – Engage with SMEs and business partners to deliver architectural solutions aligned with organizational objectives.

Bachelor’s in a related field is required. A Master’s Degree is preferred but not required.
10-12 years of experience with strong Business Engagement and delivery management
Strong exposure to SAP and S/4 landscape especially Material Master
Configuration & Customization - Configure SAP MM module settings (material types, valuation, purchasing views), Customize workflows to meet business requirements.
Process Optimization - Streamline procurement and inventory processes, Collaborate with cross-functional teams (finance, logistics, production).
Experience as a a Business Functional Analyst.
Experience in SAP MDG functional processes especially in Material master is a “Must Have”
Experience in CPG Industry is required. Appreciation of working with multiple regions (APAC, LAO, NA and EMEA) is strongly preferred
Experience of working in collaboration with multiple business / functional and technology architecture counterparts, as an MD Business Function Analyst and/or Technology Delivery space.
Knowledge of Data Governance, Data Lineage and Data Management experience is a plus
Strong experience in S/4 transformation projects is a plus
Knowledge / experience with document migration work such as open text is good to have
Very strong and keen in terms of go get it type of attitude who can lead deliver results and complete task assigned along with vendor management
SAP Master Data Business Process Analysis and Process Harmonization
Hierarchy Management and Solutions Design
SAP – S/4 -Data Quality and Lifecycle Management Strategy, Solutioning and Operationalization skills across multiple MD Objects
Strong influencing skills and thought leadership to drive the Master Data agenda in a cross functional environment (key expectation to drive the Master data architecture amidst the S/4 solution design / confirmation)
Ability to Lead the projects end to end by engaging with right stakeholders and tracking of delivery.
Strong Functional appreciation of Process and Data Models especially Material Master. Technical knowledge in any of these will be a plus
Capability to Champion a business case driven process to define and deliver business analytic solutions.
External and Global Standards Focused – bring in Industry Standards and Best Practices
Strong capability to lead projects to successful completion through collaboration and vendor management
Exhibit excellent communication (verbal and written), presentation skills and interpersonal skills along with demonstrated ability working with global and cross-functional teams
Self-Driven and Business Benefit Focused – ability to work on a broad guideline and framework to bring in influential solutions.
Capability to manage multiple data models from legacy sources, profile, analyze fit-gap and propose solutions for a Globally scalable and business-relevant Data Object Model
