Job Summary

The Electronic Data Interface (EDI) analyst provides support to internal and external customers and functional teams. This role is responsible for monitoring EDI applications for multiple departments and regions to resolve system and production issues, document specifications and requirements, and evaluate EDI process and workflow opportunities. This role will build relationships with partners and third-party vendors as the primary contact for onboarding, support, and responding to requests.

Essential Functions

Description

  • Builds and maintains relationships and processes with users, third party vendors and customers as the primary EDI contact for support, ongoing communication, and issue resolution surrounding the transmission and receipt of EDI transactions.
  • Reviews and modifies SAP Intermediate Documents (IDOC) to meet customer or company requirements.
  • Monitors and responds to EDI support requests including but not limited to retailer and vendor chargebacks, invoice processing, cost management and reporting.
  • Maintains process documentation, and functional specifications for new and existing EDI mappings and workflows.
  • Reviews EDI processing data to identify opportunities for improvement regarding data flows, errors and overall trends.
  • Documents business requirements, assess the need for process changes and modifications, recommend changes and support EDI projects including documenting and assigning responsibilities while ensuring timelines are met within budget.
  • Supports EDI users execute testing plans for system integrations and user acceptance.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, or related discipline preferred.
  • Minimum one (1) year of experience in the EDI field required. 

Any equivalent combination of experience and education which clearly indicates the ability to perform the essential functions of the position may substitute on a year for year basis.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Strong technical analysis, diagnosis, and problem-solving skills.
  • Working knowledge of EDI formats such as X12, XML, Flat File and SAP IDOCs.
  • Experience with SAP AFS and Order Management a plus.
  • Strong written and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Excellent organization skills, ability to prioritize demands and multi-task to complete objectives.

Base Salary: $63,450.00 - $66,975.00

This range represents the low and high ends of this position's anticipated base salary range. The actual base salary will depend on numerous factors such as experience, knowledge, skills, and location.
