Position Summary:
• The Emergency Department Administrative Support/Recidivism Coordinator is a detail-oriented individual who embodies team accountability while assisting in the coordination of assigned tasks and projects. Demonstrates proactive courtesy while providing secretarial support for the Emergency Department and ensuring coordination of and support for the Recidivism Program and secretarial support for the Patient Satisfaction project. Facilitates effective use of resources through thoughtfully anticipated organizing, communicating, and project coordination.

Required Qualifications:
• High School Diploma or GED
• Two Years administrative, Secretarial or Clerical Experience or Associates Degree
• Proficiency in the use of Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience in a Healthcare Setting.
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Provides diverse clerical support and administrative assistance for the ER Leadership Team routinely and upon request and as directed by the ED Nursing Manager.
• Assists in providing training upon request in the use of computers and software
• Will Coordinate the Recidivism Project.
• Will give Secretarial support to the Patient Satisfaction project
• Builds productive interpersonal relationships in every encounter
• Demonstrates teamwork

• Other duties as assigned
Physical Demands and Environmental Work Conditions:
• Must be able to see with corrective eyewear and hear clearly with assistance. Activities may include prolonged visual interaction while working with computers.
• Must be able to walk, stand bend, squat, climb, kneel, and twist frequently in addition to frequent prolonged sitting.
• Repetitive motions may also be encountered such as wrist and hand movements, grasping and finger dexterity related to clerical duties such as typing, sitting, faxing, filing, etc.
