Job Description:

Economics Analysis Manager

  • Responsible for analyzing global economic trends and conducting econometric research to identify factors influencing volume and revenue growth.
  • Develops impact estimates for various economic scenarios on markets and UPS performance.
  • Leads research and implementation of advanced forecasting techniques to improve accuracy.
  • Provides applied economic analysis on issues such as tariffs and fiscal policy.
  • This role manages one supervisor.

Knowledge and Skills

  • Strong proficiency in statistical software (e.g., SAS, R, Python) and economic modeling techniques - Required
  • Ability to translate complex economic data into clear, actionable insights for non-technical stakeholders - Required

Preferred Education and Experience

  • Master's or PhD in Economics - Preferred
  • 3+ years of experience in economic analysis, forecasting, or related roles - Preferred
