eCommerce Specialist

Job Summary

The eCommerce Specialist is responsible for growing KEEN Canada’s direct-to-consumer business through smart, fan-first digital marketing. This role focuses on acquiring new fans and building lasting relationships through email, paid digital channels, SEO/SEM, and on-site experiences. This role will collaborate closely with the Canadian eCommerce team to plan, implement, test, and optimize digital campaigns that increase traffic, conversions, and customer loyalty, aligning with KEEN’s purpose-driven brand voice.

Essential Functions

Description

Digital Acquisition & Growth

  • Plans and executes digital acquisition campaigns across paid, earned and owned channels to drive growth of KEEN Canada’s online business.
  • Leverages market research, performance data, and competitive insights to identify target audiences and new growth opportunities.
  • Supports and optimizes SEO and SEM strategy to enhance discoverability, improve traffic quality, and increase conversion.

Email & Retention Marketing

  • Owns the execution of email marketing campaigns, including promotional campaigns, newsletters, lifecycle flows, and retention programs.
  • Designs and implements A/B testing across subject lines, creative, messaging, audience segments, and landing pages.
  • Contribute to post-purchase and loyalty strategies that strengthen customer retention and lifetime value.

Content & Channel Optimization

  • Manages and maintains digital content across email and paid social channels, ensuring alignment website and best practices.
  • Collaborates with regional and global partners to deliver consistent, compelling, and on-brand digital storytelling.
  • Ensures all digital content supports performance goals while reflecting KEEN’s values and community-first mindset.

Measurement, Insights & Optimization

  • Monitors and analyzes campaign performance, traffic trends conversion rates, and customer behavior to evaluate effectiveness.
  • Translate data into actionable insights and recommendations to inform strategy and improve results.
  • Continuously optimize campaigns to improve efficiency, engagement, and return on investment.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field required.

Minimum three (3) years experience in digital marketing, demand generation, or eCommerce (brand, agency, or B2B/B2C environment).

Any equivalent combination of experience and education which clearly indicates the ability to perform the essential functions of the position may substitute on a year for year basis.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Prior experience with email marketing, SEO/SEM, and digital campaign execution.
  • Working knowledge of CMS, CRM, and analytics tools.
  • Demonstrates strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and translate insights into actionable recommendations that drive performance.
  • Embraces a test-and-learn approach, leveraging structured experimentation and continuous optimization to improve outcomes.
  • Ability to balance big-picture thinking with hands-on execution, effectively connecting strategic objectives to tactical delivery.
  • Communicates clearly and professionally in both written and verbal formats, fostering collaborative, cross-functional partnerships.
  • Manages multiple priorities with strong attention to detail, accountability, and a proactive, solution-oriented approach.

Base Salary: $74,600 - $78,700

This range represents the low and high ends of this position's anticipated base salary range. The actual base salary will depend on numerous factors such as experience, knowledge, skills, and location.
