Job Description:
The eCommerce Platform Manager is responsible for managing and optimizing the systems that power Rogue’s digital commerce experience. This role focuses on improving the performance, reliability, and scalability of Rogue’s eCommerce platform and the operational tools that support it.
Key areas of ownership include product information management (PIM), shipping configuration, product reviews, and other core commerce functionality. The role works closely with internal development, UX, marketing, and merchandising teams to translate business needs into effective platform solutions that improve both customer experience and operational efficiency.
This position is focused on hands-on management and optimization of Rogue’s eCommerce platforms rather than traditional software product management or engineering roadmap ownership.
The ideal candidate brings strong experience working within enterprise eCommerce platforms and understands how product data, fulfillment configuration, and customer-facing features work together to support a high-performance online store.
This position is based full-time at our headquarters in Columbus, Ohio. Remote work is not available.
Manage and optimize key components of Rogue’s eCommerce platform, including product information management (PIM), shipping configuration, product reviews, and related commerce systems.
Partner with internal development teams to scope, prioritize, and implement platform enhancements and new functionality.
Work cross-functionally with internal development, UX, sales, and marketing teams to ensure product data, content, and site functionality support a high-performing customer experience.
Identify opportunities to improve eCommerce platform performance, operational workflows, and customer usability.
Manage configuration and optimization of third-party commerce tools and integrations.
Analyze platform performance, customer feedback, and operational data to identify improvement opportunities.
Troubleshoot and resolve platform issues affecting customer experience or internal workflows.
Stay current with emerging eCommerce technologies, platform capabilities, and industry best practices.
Support ongoing platform improvements that help Rogue scale its digital commerce operations.
5+ years of experience managing eCommerce platforms, digital commerce systems, or related operational tools.
Hands-on experience working within enterprise eCommerce platforms such as Magento, Shopify Plus, Salesforce Commerce Cloud, or similar systems.
Experience working with product information management (PIM) systems and product data workflows.
Experience configuring or managing shipping logic and fulfillment integrations is strongly preferred.
Familiarity with platforms such as Magento, ShipperHQ, Bloomreach, Algolia and Sitecore is a plus.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify opportunities to improve platform performance and operational efficiency.
Ability to work cross-functionally with development, UX, marketing, and operations teams.
Strong communication skills and the ability to translate business needs into effective technical solutions.
A strong understanding of how eCommerce systems support product merchandising, fulfillment, and customer experience.
