ROLE SUMMARY:

We’re looking for an energetic ecommerce merchandising specialist to join our growing ecommerce team. This role fuels e-commerce growth by delivering a seamless shopping experience and ensuring products are easy to find, turning traffic into conversions. This role will aim to serve each site user the most relevant product through optimizing menu navigation, category page refinements, product listing pages, product recommendations, content, and on-site search.

The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment and can think big-picture. This specialist will be hands on keys in the web platform as well as assisting management with ideation and influencing long-term strategy. We need a problem solver who is scrappy and innovative, but also process driven and can evolve processes to find efficiency and effectiveness.


RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Gather and use data to find opportunity across the site, with an emphasis on site search experience and click rate into PDP
  • Plan content features for homepage updates
  • Partner with lifecycle and acquisition marketing teams to deliver an intuitive experience for campaign traffic
  • Sequence product across collections and categories to achieve high click rate into PDP
  • Analyze product ratings and reviews, communicate related insights cross-functionally and find opportunity to leverage data to drive conversion
  • Optimize PLP presentation for conversion
  • Analyze performance of owned areas and action on found opportunity independently 
  • Optimize upselling and cross selling throughout the site to drive higher AOV
  • Plan content updates across the shopping path to evoke product discovery and promote key products
  • Partner with ecommerce team to manage product categorization and drive an intuitive and cohesive shopping experience through data governance and disciplined product taxonomy
  • Ideate A/B tests for respective areas of PLP, menu, product recommendations, category navigation, on-site search
  • Own performance reporting, strategic planning, and execution across site navigation and product related content

REQUIREMENTS:

  • 3+ years experience of DTC ecommerce experience, preferably with a focus on product setup, taxonomy, UX, and merchandising
  • Proficient in analytics tools such as GA4, tableau, or powerBI with the ability to read data and manipulate it to find actionable insights
  • Hands on experience in web platforms, preferably Shopify Plus
  • Strong organizational and problem solving skills
  • Ability to communicate ideas, feedback, and performance reporting cross-functionally in group settings
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize when needed, can lead initiatives and opportunity related to key focus areas

POSITION TYPE:
This is a full-time exempt position.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:
This position is in-office, working out of our HQ in Durham, North Carolina 4x a week.

SALARY:
$75,000-$90,000 + Bonus
