Role Overview
At Dyson, creators shape how people discover, learn, and shop.
The Assistant Affiliate Manager plays a key role in driving Dyson’s social commerce growth by building a high-performing community of creators across E-commerce platforms.
You will own the end-to-end affiliate journey - recruitment, onboarding, engagement, performance optimization, and reporting. This is a hands-on, commercially driven role for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments, understands creator’s behaviour, and can turn content momentum into measurable sales impact.
Key Responsibilities
1. Affiliate Community Management
- Build, manage, and nurture Dyson’s affiliate community across E-commerce platforms.
- Act as the primary contact point for affiliate support, guidance and updates .
- Drive engagement through group chats, monthly touchpoints, community events, workshops, Q&A sessions, and recognition programs.
- Build a strong sense of identity and belonging within the Dyson affiliate community.
2. Recruitment & Onboarding
- Identify and recruit creators who align with Dyson’s brand, category focus, and commercial priorities.
- Collaborate with E-commerce platform teams to access creator pipelines and growth programs.
- Design structured onboarding journeys with welcome packs, incentives, content expectations, and tools.
- Activate new affiliates quickly with strong guidance, product understanding, and content direction.
3. Campaign & Content Enablement
- Translate commercial priorities, new launches and category focus into clear content briefs for affiliates.
- Build creator toolkits: key selling messages, hooks, scripts, do/don’ts, demo references, and trending content ideas.
- Coordinate affiliate participation for key campaign moments.
- Share top-performing content and insights monthly to uplift community-wide quality.
4. Performance Management & Optimization
- Track and analyze affiliate GMV, orders, views, conversion rates, content output, and retention.
- Build dashboards and weekly/monthly performance reports.
- Identify rising creators and provide personalized nudges to accelerate growth.
- Design and optimize incentive mechanisms (commission boosts, vouchers, exclusive bundles).
- Work closely with the E-commerce team to secure strong deal mechanics, bundles, and voucher support for affiliates during key commercial periods.
- Ensure payouts, commissions, and voucher mechanics run smoothly.
5. Cross-Team Coordination
- Work with Training, Category and Social teams to ensure content and messaging consistency.
- Partner with Livestream team to coordinate affiliate participation and scheduling for live events.
- Consolidate creator output across KOL, Affiliates, Experts, and Pro Stylists into one monthly Dyson Creator Performance Report.
- Share insights with E-commerce, Marketing, and Training to improve campaigns and content direction.
5. Operations, Governance & Best Practices
- Maintain a clean, up-to-date affiliate database with performance history and segmentation.
- Oversee correct link tracking, voucher setup, and attribution troubleshooting.
- Ensure compliance with Dyson brand standards and platform policies.
- Continuously improve processes for scale and efficiency.
Skills & Experience
Experience:
- 2–3 years in affiliate marketing, creator management, social commerce, influencer partnerships, or marketplace operations.
- Strong experience with Shopee and/or TikTok Shop ecosystem (preferred).
- Proven track record of driving creator-led sales.
- Background in consumer electronics, beauty, lifestyle, or FMCG is a plus.
Skills & Competencies:
- Excellent relationship builder; understands creator motivations and communication styles.
- Commercially sharp, understand margin, ROI, and GMV dynamics.
- Highly organized with strong tracking, reporting, and follow-up discipline.
- Strong written and verbal communication; able to brief creators clearly.
- Data-driven; comfortable segmenting, analyzing trends, and building dashboards.
- Thrives in fast-paced, high-volume execution environments.
