Job Description

Under the general supervision of the ECE grant administrator, the ECE Grant Support Associate provides programmatic and administrative support for grant-funded Early Childhood Education initiatives. The incumbent exercises independent judgment in carrying out assigned duties and in determining appropriate methods for student outreach and follow-up.

  • Follow up with grant participants to ensure compliance with grant objectives, including retention, completion, and reporting.

  • Contact applicants who did not enroll, provide information, and encouragement to support ECE course enrollment.

  • Assist students with enrollment and identify courses aligned with ECE goals.

  • Prepare and distribute award memoranda detailing grant-covered benefits and costs.

  • Communicate timely, accurate information on grant eligibility, requirements, and support to students.

  • Use discretion and maintain confidentiality with student records and sensitive information.

This temporary LOA position is part-time, not to exceed 19.5 hours per week, through December 31, 2026.
Following completion of training, work may be performed remotely with periodic in-person responsibilities as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience; one (1) year of experience working in an Early Childhood Education (ECE) environment, and completion of an ECE Skills Certificate.
