Job Description:
EBS Director, Implant OpCo
Reporting directly to the President, the Director, EBS is responsible for promoting and facilitating the successful implementation of the Envista Business System and enabling a problem-solving culture that drives improved performance to deliver results within the Implant OpCo organization. The Director, EBS will support the business where needed and be accountable for meeting and exceeding business specific targets through implementation of standard work and foster a strong problem-solving mindset.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Drive targeted, sustainable improvements tied to Policy Deployment (PD) and Daily Management (DM) by leveraging EBS tools, consulting skills, and the change management process.
- Be the thought leader and expert in EBS work concepts, principles, and practices for specified site to assist in achieving operating company Policy Deployment and Strategic Plan objectives.
- Be an active member of the Implant OpCo Leadership Team; be a change agent for EBS culture, coaching leaders to facilitate and lead kaizens.
- Lead the development and actively champion the EBS Roadmap (i.e., how to use the EBS tools to drive sustainable improvement in results)
- Ensure and facilitate successful kaizen events and ensure compliance (Plan, Execute, Sustain)
- Promote and facilitate diagnosis of workflow impediments and other wastes throughout the business and provide expert counsel on appropriate EBS tools to eliminate them.
- Achieve certification in EBS tools in order to deliver EBS programs.
- Promote and facilitate employee development in various EBS tools and kaizen leadership.
- Partner with EBSO to continue the evolution of our EBS culture and tools.
- Collaborate with other EBSLs in order to benchmark and incorporate best practices across opco’s.

Job Requirements:
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering or relevant fields
- 7+ years of experience in managing and leading continuous improvement efforts across various functions
- Extensive experience and knowledge of driving cross-functional improvements using EBS, or other continuous improvement tools (Lean)
- Travel Requirements: ability to travel 40% domestically and globally depending on the project.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Masters’ Degree or MBA preferred.
- Experience in Lean processes and principles, ideally in a structured lean setting.
- Ability to work independently; capable of operating in a fast moving, ever-changing environment, and able to navigate through conflicting priorities.
- Excellent and influential interpersonal and communication skills (written, verbal, presentation, listening) across functions and levels of the organization.
- Ability to manage up and across the organization.
- Demonstrated ability to think strategically and view the business from a general management standpoint.
- Certification in some EBS tools (internal candidates) preferred.
