An opportunity exists within the PW Earned Value Management Systems (EV SYS) Organization for a qualified candidate to join our team.  This team provides centralized business and application expertise on the EVMS systems and processes.  This position provides the candidate with a unique opportunity to provide support, training, standards, consulting, and communication to the users on current tools/processes and to assist as we migrate our tools to new environments.  In addition, this candidate will serve as the bridge between DT and the business.  The selected candidate will be an integral part of the EV SYS team.

What You Will Do:

  • Support requirements collection and definition in support of EV Sys initiatives.
  • Support testing, deployment, and troubleshooting of new solutions.
  • Share business expertise and assist with EVMS tools migration to new platforms, as needed.
  • Participate in process improvement projects which investigate turnbacks/escapes and improve system performance (quality, reliability, etc).
  • Create and/or update EVMS standard work and enhancing published EVMS content.
  • Create and/or update associated training material and deliver to users.
  • Support adhoc requests, as necessary.
  • Perform backup support for other EVMS tools and EV COE activities, as appropriate.

Qualifications You Must Have:                                                                                    

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline with 5+ years of business analysis experience; or an advanced degree with 3+ years of experience.

  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.        

Qualifications We Prefer:

  • Exposure to, or experience with, Earned Value Management and PW financial systems.
  • Knowledge of our Program Management toolsets (SAP, Primavera, Dassian, WEBEVM, eCSVAR, wInsight, Empower).
  • Formal training in Earned Value Management.
  • Comfortable executing under a highly dynamic environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to produce documentation (procedures and work instructions) for both the EV SYS and the end user.
  • Strong time management skills, with the ability to prioritize, multi-task, and work under shifting deadlines.
  • Ability to work independently to manage projects and accomplish project goals.
  • Well-developed critical thinking, problem-solving, and analytical skills.  Must be willing to handle complexity and troubleshoot various system and process issues that arise. 
  • Dedication to provide quality customer service with a sense of urgency, practicality, accountability, and integrity.
  • Aptitude for and interest in identifying, learning, and implementing new tools and processes.
  • The ability to learn, understand, and interpret business needs.
  • Demonstrated effectiveness in working across functions, organizations, and all levels of management.

The salary range for this role is 82,000 USD - 164,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
