The Role

We are seeking an Early Careers Recruiting Coordinator to join our dynamic, people-first team. In this role, you will provide essential support to the US Early Careers Recruitment team — a group dedicated to identifying and attracting exceptional talent for entry-level and support functions across the agency.

You will be an active, hands-on contributor to the recruitment process: sourcing and screening candidates, coordinating interviews, managing candidate communications, and maintaining accurate records in Workday. This is an excellent opportunity for someone early in their HR or recruiting career who thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume environment and is eager to grow.

Responsibilities

Coordination & Scheduling

  • Manage a high volume of interview scheduling, informational interviews, and candidate logistics across phone, virtual, and in-person formats.
  • Serve as a reliable point of contact for candidates, providing timely, professional communication throughout the recruiting, hiring, and onboarding process.
  • Maintain call logs and facilitate clear, organized communication between hiring managers and Early Careers Recruiters.

Candidate Management & Sourcing

  • Track and manage candidates with accuracy and care using Workday, ensuring data integrity across all stages of the pipeline.
  • Source and engage passive candidates for current and future entry-level roles, contributing to a strong talent pipeline.
  • Partner with Recruiters and business leaders to maintain a healthy, active candidate pool aligned to hiring goals.

Recruiting Support & Strategy

  • Support Recruiters in the development and execution of recruiting strategies and hiring goal attainment.
  • Post and maintain job descriptions across relevant platforms and systems.
  • Assist with the planning, coordination, and execution of on-campus and virtual recruiting events.

Internship Program Support

  • Provide logistical and administrative support for internship program preparation and execution.
  • Co-facilitate intern training sessions in partnership with Recruiters during the internship program.

General & Ad Hoc

  • Assist the broader Recruiting team with key initiatives, special projects, and other tasks as needed, bringing a flexible, no-task-is-too-small attitude.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in an administrative, coordinator, or recruiting support role.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and high-volume workflows without sacrificing attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a professional, service-oriented approach to candidate and stakeholder interactions.
  • Demonstrated ability to learn new systems and processes quickly and independently.
  • Adaptable and proactive, with the ability to shift priorities fluidly in a fast-paced corporate environment.
  • Collaborative team player with a strong sense of urgency and the ability to engage effectively across all levels of the organization.
  • Strong proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience with ATS/CRM platforms.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in early careers, campus, or university recruiting.
  • Familiarity with internship program planning and implementation.
  • Proficiency with Workday ATS platform.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • A genuine, long-term interest in building a career in Talent Acquisition or HR.

Location

  • This role is hybrid, based out of the New York office.

Compensation
The annual base salary for this position is in the range of $26 – $32 per hour in New York. This position is also eligible for benefits and a discretionary bonus. Ultimately, the salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in the role, business sector, and geographic location, among other criteria.
