EAME Quality Systems Lead
Role Overview:
We are seeking a highly specialized EAME Quality Systems Lead to join our Polyurethanes (PU) team in Kraków. In this role, you will be accountable for ensuring compliance with international quality and regulatory standards across EAME sites, with a strong focus on automotive and other regulated industry customers.
You will play a key role in maintaining certifications, leading internal and external audits, managing high‑impact customer complaints, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. The position requires close collaboration with internal stakeholders and external partners to enhance customer satisfaction while proactively reducing the total cost of quality, in line with PU and Supply Chain strategy.

Role Responsibilities:
As a EAME Quality Systems Lead you will be responsible for:
Maintaining and continuously improving Quality Management Systems (QMS) in compliance with IATF 16949, ISO 9001, industry standards and customer-specific requirements.
Planning, managing, and coordinating internal, customer, supplier, and third‑party certification audits, including follow‑up actions and effectiveness validation.
Acting as the primary quality contact for automotive customers, including ownership of Product Approval Processes (PPAP) and customer compliance expectations.
Administering and maintaining automotive customer quality portals, ensuring accurate and timely responses to quality‑related requests and submissions.
Organizing and supporting customer visits, including commercial discussions, quality reviews, and audit-related activities.
Challenging customer and external auditor requirements from an operational feasibility perspective, ensuring compliance without unnecessary operational burden.
Leading the customer complaint management process, including root cause analysis, corrective and preventive actions, and escalation handling for high-impact issues in close collaboration with the PU EAME Quality Manager.
Supporting production and process compliance, including communication of relevant process or product changes to customers.
Driving continuous improvement and standardization initiatives across sites to improve system effectiveness and reduce quality-related costs.
Representing the company during customer assessments, audits, and certification reviews.
Traveling regionally on a regular basis (approximately every two months) and very occasionally globally.
Experience and Competencies:
We are looking for experienced candidates with a strong background in quality management systems and automotive standards, combined with excellent communication and influencing skills.
What we are looking for:
Strong working knowledge of Automotive quality management standards, such as IATF 16949, VDA 6 .1, Core Tools and relevant ISO Standards.
Proven experience in quality management systems governance and audit management.
Background in the automotive industry and chemical manufacturing is a strong advantage.
Demonstrated ability to manage and reduce customer complaints through structured root cause analysis and corrective action methodologies (e.g., 8D, 5‑Why, Fishbone), with a focus on preventing recurrence and reducing the total cost of quality.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and influencing skills for effective interaction with customers, auditors, and internal stakeholders.
Strong interest in production processes, operational asset feasibility, and practical implementation of quality requirements.
High attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across multiple sites and functions.
Fluent in English; additional languages are an asset.
