As part of the delivery of the UK MoD E7 Wedgetail Aircraft Support Provider contract, Boeing Defence UK (BDUK) is looking for an Aircraft Maintenance Program Engineer responsible to manage the E7 aircraft maintenance in accordance with the RA4945 series and the applicable RAF Air Publications.
 

The BDUK E7 Aircraft Maintenance Program Engineer will provide direct assistance to the E7 CAMO Support Service (CAMSS) Lead, and will be responsible to the BDUK Fixed Wing Product Support Manager and RAF E7 Wedgetail Mil CAM (via Mil AR Manager and DCAM – Deputy Continuing Airworthiness Manager), as manpower substitution.

Responsibilities:

·       Being part of the BDUK Continuing Airworthiness Management Support Service (CAMSS) Team based at RAF Lossiemouth (Scotland), and the wider Engineering Product Support Team.

·       Being part of the RAF E7 Wedgetail (Continuing Airworthiness Management Organisation).

·       Ensure BDUK Programme and Capability are informed of any change requirements to ensure funding is approved through the BDUK Change Board

·       Knowledge of  aircraft maintenance processes, policies, culture, and standard practices in order to effectively represent the operator within the company.

·       Support the development, review and management of the P-8A Aircraft Maintenance Programme (AMP) based on Military Type Certificate Holder’s and equipment manufacturer’s recommendations and in-service experience.

·       Support Maintenance Planning in relation to work packages, in order to ensure that the planned maintenance is efficient and cost effective to enable optimum aircraft availability to support the operational flying programme.

·       Support the development and improvement of continuing airworthiness processes.

·       Produce and recommend amendments to the AMP to the Mil CAMO to meet the MAA requirements and taking into account the operations, reliability and life cycle costs.

·       Ensure that approved AMP amendment proposals are submitted for approval in a timely manner.

·       Develop and enhance processes and procedures to ensure and improve availability and system reliability.

·       Responsible for effective taskcard management associated with the AMP and coordinating regular meeting for the management of the AMP.

·       Assisting other BDUK functions and capabilities that support the execution of the E7 Wedgetail E7 Mil CAM’s Part M responsibilities.

·       Ensure that the BDUK CAMSS team remain MRP compliant and have a positive contribution to the E7 Wedgetail Mil CAM’s approvals.

·       Ensure the correct and proper use of the BDUK QMS (Quality Management System).

·       Ensure the correct and proper use of the BDUK SMS (Safety Management System).

·       Support the correct and proper use of the RAF SMS.

·       Attend relevant Mil CAMO and BDUK Engineering Meetings as required.
