The Cloud Security Analyst II conducts risk assessments and provides recommendations for application design for cloud-based solutions. The analyst analyzes and defines security requirements within a cloud environment and supports developing solutions that meet cloud network security requirements, including integration and implementation of network security solutions. This role performs vulnerability and risk analyses of cloud infrastructure and tenant applications throughout all phases of the system development lifecycle (SDLC) and acts as a technical point of escalation for cybersecurity issues. Applies cybersecurity standards, principles, and technical knowledge to address moderately complex security challenges and support the secure operation of enterprise and cloud-based systems.
The proposed salary range for this position is $85,000-$105,000. There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, geographic location, education, and certifications.
