Basic Purpose
This Position is responsible for establishing contact with both internal and external customers. They provide the customer with the requested information or assistance concerning purchases made on the OTRD online store. Responsibilities may include operating various types of telephone or shipping equipment, including online sales websites, printers, point-of-sale systems; issuing equipment, supplies; processing online orders for customers; and similar activities.
Typical Job Duties
Processing all incoming orders from the online store.
Review, process, and accept any needed changes to all incoming merchandise, performing quality control for all purchases. If changes are needed, this position will contact both the vendor and the ordering customer to ensure the appropriate order has been fulfilled.
Maintain timelines of incoming orders and provide customers (both internal and external) with status updates.
Ensure inventory database integrity and verify inventories for online store on a quarterly basis, at minimum.
As OTRD implements new merchandise online, identify which products need updated and monitor sales of these products to keep a consistent record of inventory.
Accept new inventory from the mailroom, unbox, and practice QA control on merchandise. Once received: update Lightspeed, print appropriate price labels, and deliver merchandise to the receiving location.
Maintains the agency’s online store by updating products, inventory, pricing, and processing orders.
Follows oral and written instructions accurately to complete daily tasks, process online orders, and support store operations.
Maintains effective working relationships with team members, customers, and vendors to ensure efficient service and positive customer experiences.
Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
Must possess a valid Driver’s License
Minimum of one (1) year of experience in sales, merchandising, or reviewing business processes related to sales operations and product presentation.
Special Requirements
Must be able to frequently stand, walk, bend, and lift or carry items weighing up to 25 pounds. Requires the ability to transport materials between office locations, operate a vehicle safely when needed, and perform routine office tasks such as sitting, typing, and using standard office equipment.
Scheduled hours will require flexibility, including holidays, weekends, or events, based on the needs of the agency.
Position may require statewide travel
