Role Responsibilities:
Strategy/Ownership/Execution
Support and influence account planning cycles to champion the ecommerce channel and input digital pillars in the account joint business planning process, becoming an integral member of the account team ensuring digital is considered for through all projects and touchpoints internally and externally. Leading digital element of customer brand days for wholesale.
Develop an external contact strategy with key category and contacts across the retailers and impulse partners to build and enhance Diageo’s digital relationships.
Thought leadership working with GB and global teams to understand the future of the retail climate and work with account teams to bring the b2b ecommerce and the quick commerce impulse RTM element to life. (Working in partnership with the egrocery leads on the global JBP we have with Uber, the relationship with Deliveroo and owning the SnappyShopper relationship).
Own and shape the digital execution and growth strategy for the B2B and impulse RTM alongside the respective Account teams and Customer Marketing Managers, with creation of a content and media strategy and work in partnership with OFT customer marketing and the CMD team on implementation.
Work with the Diageo Customer Marketing Managers to build and implement annual activation plan for Online with a true unified commerce strategy. Leading the analysis for the digital element of each customer execution and shape/share the learnings from this both internally and externally to constantly improve the performance of digital activation in B2B and independent quick commerce.
Drive online market share, whilst driving product mix management and delivery through online initiatives within the b2b and impulse.com external accounts teams, growing Diageo share and KPI of total category penetration growth with Diageo acting as the online category growth partner.
Build a jointly agreed yearly execution and category plan aligned to the Diageo strategy and commercial agenda, with clear business partner alignment internally and externally.
Create and manage an active performance scorecard to share with the customer and internal business partners, with clear KPI and action tracking.
Ensure new product launches are featured on time at launch, and to high quality standard with RTM tailored content and messaging.
Track competitor activity on the site, and report on Diageo’s performance, ensuring we are constantly reviewing and learning.
Work closely with systems and commercial finance to manage the dot.com P&L and review the mix delivery of the account and to the drive performance leaver to deliver against the strategic plan.
About You:
Passion for digital.
Strong experience in a marketing, sales or off trade role, with customer facing experience.
