Job Purpose

Location: Hybrid working with a minimum of 3 days per week in the Leeds office. 

Salary:  £50,000 - £55,000 + bonus

We are recruiting for an exciting new role as a Dynamics 365 CE & Power Platform Developer at NWF.

This is an exciting opportunity to help shape the recently formed Power Platform function at the National Wealth Fund.

You will be joining a small team and help shape best practice across multiple platforms in this greenfield function.

As a Power Platform Developer, you will support the build, configuration, and enhancement of Dynamics 365 CRM, Power Apps, and Power Automate solutions. You will also support and develop Agentic AI capabilities within Copilot Studio to enable the business deliver intelligent automation.

You will work closely with developers, business users, and change teams to deliver high-quality, process-driven solutions while growing your expertise in Microsoft’s low-code ecosystem.

The role holder will deal with a matrix of both internal and external stakeholders which will require strong stakeholder engagement skills.

Key Accountabilities

  • Developing, configuring and enhancing Dynamics 365 CRM, Power Apps, and Power Automate workflows.
  • Creation of technical documentation, automation catalogues, and solution designs.
  • Analysing operational requirements and translating them into simple, scalable technical solutions.
  • Contributing to testing, troubleshooting, and issue resolution.
  • Working with internal and external stakeholders, including senior developers and SMEs, to ensure best-practice development standards.
  • Participating in and contributing to Agile ceremonies, design reviews, and knowledge-sharing sessions.
  • Supporting integration activities between Dynamics and other Microsoft/3rd-party systems
  • Supporting the establishment and growth of a Citizen Developer Centre of Excellence, providing guidance, governance, reusable components, and safe development patterns to empower business-led low‑code development

Knowledge, Skill and Experience requirements

Essential Knowledge, skills and experience

  • Demonstrable hands on experience with Dynamics 365 CRM
  • Proficiency in building solutions on the Power Platform, including model‑driven and canvas Power Apps.
  • Strong capability in developing flows with Power Automate, including integrations, approvals, and automated business processes.
  • Understanding of process design, workflow logic, and automation concepts.
  • Early experience with C#, JavaScript, Dataverse or Microsoft cloud technologies.
  • Strong communication and engagement skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with business users and technical teams
  • Experience in both Agile and Waterfall deliveries, with experience of participating and contributing to Agile ceremonies and Waterfall project meetings.

Desirable Knowledge, skills and experience

  • Microsoft Dynamics & Power Platform certifications.
  • Knowledge of financial services processes and regulatory environment.
