Job Title: Dy Manager- Sales & Application - SWS/SPR Equipment

 

Job Summary:

The Application Engr/Mgr for Joining and Fastening Equipment is responsible for providing technical expertise and support in the selection, implementation, and optimization of joining and fastening solutions for industrial applications. This role involves collaborating with customers, sales teams, and internal engineering departments to deliver effective solutions that meet customer requirements and industry standards.

 

 

Key Responsibilities:

Technical Consultation:

  • Engage with customers to understand their application requirements and challenges related to Welding, joining and fastening.
  • Provide technical consultation on the selection of appropriate joining and fastening equipment based on application specifications.

Product Knowledge:

  • Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of a range of joining and fastening equipment, including but not limited to welding systems, Tightening and Self Piercing riveting tools, , and other related technologies.
  • Stay current with industry trends and advancements in joining and fastening technology. (EV/No Hole, Plasma)

Application Analysis:

  • Analyze customer applications and recommend suitable equipment and solutions to optimize performance, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.
  • Conduct feasibility studies and technical assessments for proposed solutions.

Proposal Development:

  • Collaborate with the sales team to prepare detailed and accurate technical proposals, including equipment specifications, cost estimates, and project timelines.
  • Ensure proposals align with customer requirements and industry standards.

Customer Support:

  • Provide pre-sales and post-sales technical support to customers, addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Conduct product demonstrations and training sessions for customers and internal teams.

 

Project Management:

  • Work closely with Customers  to coordinate the successful implementation of joining and fastening solutions.
  • Monitor project progress, troubleshoot issues, and ensure timely delivery of solutions.

Quality Assurance:

  • Collaborate with quality control teams at customer end to ensure that joining and fastening solutions meet quality standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product performance and reliability.

Documentation:

  • Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including application notes, user manuals, and training materials.
  • Document customer-specific configurations and implementations.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
  • Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in the field of Welding, joining and fastening equipment in Automotive Industry.
  • Strong knowledge of welding processes, riveting technologies, and related applications.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Product management experience is a plus.
  • Familiarity with industry standards and regulations.

  • Technical expertise in joining and fastening technologies.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Proficient in CAD software and other relevant engineering tools.
