About the role

The Duty Engineer is responsible for ensuring the smooth daily operations of the resort’s engineering and maintenance functions. This role provides technical support, responds to guest and staff requests, and ensures all facilities, equipment, and systems operate safely, efficiently, and in line with Four Seasons standards.

What you will do

Oversee daily maintenance operations, to ensure all resort facilities and equipment are kept in good working condition through effective day-to-day maintenance, timely repairs, and proper coordination with the engineering team.
Support preventive maintenance and project planning, in assisting the Assistant Director of Engineering in planning and implementing preventive maintenance schedules, managing repair projects, and supervising contractors to meet Four Seasons and local standards.
Lead and support the engineering team by conducting daily briefings, guide team members, and provide on-the-job training to help improve technical skills, teamwork, and service quality.
Respond promptly to emergencies, support pre-arrival and function needs, and work closely with other departments to prevent issues and deliver a seamless guest experience.

What you bring

Good communication and problem-solving skills.
Physically fit and able to handle hands-on repair tasks.
Experience in luxury hotel or resort engineering preferred.
Demonstrated leadership and supervisory skills, with the ability to guide, coach, and develop a technical team.
