We’re seeking a DUA Governance Specialist to support the operational governance, risk and compliance activities across a portfolio of DUA partnerships. This role sits within the Agency team and works closely with DUA partners, business owners and internal risk teams to ensure strong governance outcomes, accurate reporting and timely issue resolution. It’s a great opportunity for someone who enjoys coordination, structure and working in a regulated environment.

Your new role

As the DUA Governance Specialist, you’ll play a key role in day‑to‑day governance operations, supporting annual appraisals, third‑party risk triage, issue and incident management, and governance reporting.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Coordinating DUA Binder variations & renewals, annual appraisals, including timelines, evidence collection, tracking and artefact management
  • Monitoring and triaging third‑party risk assessments and alerts, ensuring quality, ownership and closure
  • Logging, tracking and following up issues, incidents and remediation actions through to closure
  • Managing audit findings registers and supporting evidence‑based closure with risk and audit teams
  • Preparing governance reports and packs for monthly and quarterly DUA forums
  • Supporting governance meeting cadence, including agendas, minutes and action tracking
  • Identifying process improvements to enhance data quality, efficiency and visibility across the portfolio
  • Ensuring activities align with internal governance frameworks, policies and service standards

About you

You’re detail‑oriented, organised and comfortable working across multiple stakeholders, with a strong interest in governance, risk and compliance.

You’ll bring:

  • Experience in operations, governance, risk, compliance, audit coordination or third‑party/vendor management
  • Strong coordination and stakeholder management skills, with confidence following up to drive outcomes
  • Clear written communication skills for governance updates, minutes and reporting
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, and comfort working with registers and workflow tools
  • The ability to manage competing deadlines in a fast‑paced environment
  • An understanding of third‑party risk concepts, remediation tracking and control assurance (beneficial)
  • Experience with Jira and SharePoint (beneficial)
