DTS Sales Trainee : 6 Months

Maersk Gabon is looking for a DTS Sales Trainee (Sales Intern) to join our Commercial team in Libreville. This role forms part of the DTS Sales Trainee Program and offers hands‑on exposure to sales operations, customer portfolio management, and end‑to‑end logistics solutions.

The role has been initiated to support the Sales team during a maternity cover, and is therefore business‑critical and urgent. The successful candidate will actively support one of our Sales Representatives and help maintain momentum across customer engagement and pipeline development.

Key Responsibilities:
• Support Sales Representatives in customer targeting, meeting preparation, and follow-ups
• Assist in maintaining SFDC (Salesforce) data quality: pipeline updates, opportunity tracking,
reporting
• Prepare sales presentations, customer proposals, and basic commercial analyses
• Support market and customer research (industry, trade lanes, volumes, competition)
• Coordinate with internal teams (Customer Service, Operations, Product) to support deal execution
• Participate in customer meetings, calls, and commercial reviews where appropriate
• Support ad-hoc commercial projects and initiatives

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

Someone with :

• Recent graduate or early-career professional in Business, Marketing, Logistics, International Trade,
or related field
• Junior sales, commercial, or business development profile with strong interest in logistics and
supply chain
• Very good communication skills in English and French (written and spoken)
• Good analytical skills; comfortable with Excel and PowerPoint
• Proactive, structured, and eager to learn
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment
