IDEAL QUALIFICATIONS

  • Coaching Experience

  • Experience working with diverse age groups and skill levels.

  • Knowledge of sports nutrition and injury prevention.

THE ROLE

  • Deliver a structured before-school activity that promotes belonging, safety, and student engagement.
  • Arrive on time and ensure proper setup of materials, space, and equipment.
  • Take accurate attendance and monitor student participation in the Before School Club Hub.
  • Maintain a safe, supportive, and inclusive environment aligned with DSST’s Core Values and student expectations.
  • Communicate proactively with the Athletics & Activities Director about attendance, student concerns, material needs, or schedule changes.
  • Submit a club session outline for the year to the Athletics & Activities Director.
  • Participate in brief check-ins, onboarding, and training as required.
  • Participate in Wolfstock at the end of the year to showcase the club's learnings, content, skills, etc.

Deliverables

  • Weekly facilitation of the assigned club/activity during scheduled before-school hours.
  • An outline of the club activities for each week throughout the year.
  • Safe and consistent supervision of all students assigned to the club.
  • Weekly completion of student attendance in the Before School Club Hub.
  • Content or activity to showcase at the end of year Wolfstock event.
  • Optional: brief end-of-semester reflection on successes and needs.

Physical Demands
