A Day in the Life

As a part-time Courier based in our Sacramento, CA Service Center, you’ll play a key role in keeping it moving in the Tracy, CA service area. You'll be the link between the lab and the client. Pick up and deliver samples with speed, care, and precision - ensuring every handoff is safe, secure, and on time.

The compensation range for this role is $18 to $22, commensurate with experience, skills, and geographic location. 

Schedule - Monday thru Friday, up to 5 hrs per day

**Must have open availability to work any 4-5 hour shift, M-F between 8am - 6pm; Schedule may vary based on client needs.

To thrive in this role, you’ll be comfortable taking ownership of the following responsibilities:

  • Driving the company vehicle to client locations, delivering supplies to those locations, and returning samples to the Service Center. 

  • Providing courteous, respectful, responsive and excellent client service to internal and external clients.

  • Maintaining the company vehicle in optimal driving condition.

  • Maintaining a clean vehicle, both inside and outside.

  • Demonstrate discretion, confidentiality and good judgement when dealing with sensitive company, personnel and client information

  • Other duties as assigned

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required

  • Pass background checks and initial drug screening

  • Valid driver’s license

  • Must have a driving record that meets the company requirements for operating company vehicles

  • Must have attention to details

  • prior delivery or professional driving experience

Safety Requirements

  • Drivers must inform their supervisor within 3 days if they are ticketed or arrested for driving related offences outside of work, and immediately if the event happens on the job.

  • Sitting, standing, and walking

  • Must be able to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 75 pounds unassisted

  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position up to 50%

  • Ability to climb stairs

  • Often works outdoors and may be exposed to hot and cold environments and extreme weather conditions, including sunlit, rainy and windy conditions

  • Must have availability to work any 5-hour shift Mon - Fri between 8:00am and 5:00pm
