AAA Driving School is seeking a strategic and results-driven Program Manager – Driver Services to lead our driving school operations and drive financial performance, enrollment growth, and service quality excellence. This role is responsible for managing a team of supervisors, instructors, and support staff to ensure the seamless execution of driver education programs.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic & Financial Management
Develop and oversee budgeting, revenue targets, cost control, and financial forecasting for the driving school.
Analyze financial and operational performance to identify opportunities for increased profitability and cost efficiency.
Establish and track KPIs including profitability, service quality, enrollment growth, and instructor productivity.
Operational Leadership & Team Management
Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team, including supervisors and driving instructors.
Implement performance standards, operational procedures, and best practices to ensure consistency and efficiency across locations.
Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation, driving new initiatives to enhance operations.
Ensure proper resource allocation to meet enrollment demands and maintain high instructor productivity.
Implement policies and practices to ensure high service quality and customer satisfaction.
Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement
Work closely with internal and external partners to develop and execute strategic initiatives.
Serve as the primary contact and representative of the driving school, influencing internal and external stakeholders to align with business objectives.
Partner with marketing teams to drive enrollment growth through targeted strategies.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify operational challenges and develop effective solutions.
Regulatory Compliance & Safety
Ensure the driving school adheres to state and federal regulatory requirements.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of driver education laws and industry best practices.
Work with legal and compliance teams to implement necessary policies, documentation, and instructor certifications.
Technology & Digital Transformation
Manage and optimize online driving school software to improve the student experience and operational efficiency.
Leverage data and analytics to drive decision-making and strategic improvements.
Travel
Some travel is required to visit different driving school locations and attend key meetings.
What You’ll Need:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
4-6 years of management experience, preferably in a service-oriented, education-based business, or driving school.
Experience in budgeting, revenue management, and cost control preferred.
Experience managing large teams with multiple layers of leadership preferred.
Advanced leadership, mentoring, and coaching skills to drive team engagement and performance.
Strong organizational and strategic planning abilities.
Exceptional communication skills (oral and written) with the ability to influence and collaborate across multiple departments.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access).
Knowledge of state and federal regulations governing driver education programs preferred
Valid Driver License, acceptable Department of Motor Vehicle record and minimum limits of automobile liability insurance required.
