Iron Mountain is seeking a motivated and professional Driver to join our Transportation team. In this role, you will be responsible for the secure collection and on-site destruction of client materials while providing world-class customer service. As the public face of our company, you will drive a specialized Mobile Shred Vehicle (MSV) to various client locations, ensuring the total security and integrity of the chain of custody.
In this role, you will:
Execute Secure Collections and Destruction: Drive a company Mobile Shred Vehicle to client sites to safely collect, transport, and shred sensitive materials while utilizing wireless scanning technology to maintain accurate records.
Manage Vehicle Integrity and Compliance: Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, manage refueling and cleanliness, and ensure total compliance with all transportation legislation and Iron Mountain’s “Driver Code of Conduct.”
Provide Professional Client Solutions: Interface directly with customers to manage day-to-day requirements and resolve service issues, while also supporting warehouse operations such as retrievals, destructions, and inventory moves as needed.
The ideal candidate will have:
Proven experience in a professional driving role and a strong understanding of national transport networks.
Strong knowledge of secure chain-of-custody procedures and the ability to strictly follow Application and understanding of SOP 27 / 29 regarding safety and security.
Proven ability to meet high physical demands, including manual lifting of large amounts of data (boxed or bagged) and the stamina to operate loading mechanisms throughout the day.
A valid driver’s license appropriate for a Mobile Shred Vehicle and a commitment to safe, fuel-efficient driving practices.
