As a Special Projects Management Engineer in DOS, you will collaborate with leadership and program teams to manage strategic projects and business processes. This role involves overseeing programs to achieve business objectives, developing and tracking key metrics, and analyzing progress. Close coordination with the Technology Development (TD) department is required to drive technical initiatives and facilitate cross-functional communication. Candidates with hands-on experience in semiconductor fabrication (Fab) are preferred for effective support of TD projects and process improvements.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead program governance, including initiation, planning, execution, and reporting
- Identify stakeholders and manage expectations
- Define program scope, goals, and deliverables in alignment with business objectives
- Estimate required resources and participants
- Plan and schedule timelines and milestones using appropriate tools
- Track milestones and deliverables
- Prepare and deliver progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation, and presentations
- Drive programs to successful completion
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Business Operations, Engineering, or Semiconductors
- Strong project management, planning, and organizational skills; ability to prioritize multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
- Effective communication skills with peers and managers
- Experience with global networking
- Minimum 3 years of project management experience and 5 years in Fab operations
Additional Information
- Lead internal business projects and cross-functional teams, overseeing schedules and budgets from inception to delivery
- May manage external vendors and direct system analysis and program staff
- Primary focus is project/program management, with possible technical team members
