About the role
The Donor Acquisition Manager is responsible for managing the development and implementation of individual donor acquisition programs across multiple channels to deliver agreed net income and donor targets.
This is a 12 month fixed term contract for a parental leave cover based at Allambie Heights.
Responsibilities of the role (not limited to):
- Optimise and grow the donor acquisition program for regular and single givers as well as lottery supporters.
- Manage significant multi-channel donor acquisition campaigns (digital, telemarketing and face-to-face) to achieve and exceed revenue and donor targets.
- Enhance supporter journeys through insight, feedback and innovation to maximise lifetime value.
- Manage agency and third-party supplier performance, ensuring strong relationships, effective reporting and delivery of KPIs and obligations.
- Oversee acquisition budgets, including expenditure and revenue tracking and weekly invoice processing
- Partner with the Data Team to ensure accurate, consistent data and effective reporting.
- Work closely with Digital Team to develop and test new campaign tactics and propositions.
- Represent the Acquisition team in all high-level cross-functional team discussions
- Analyse and report on campaign performance and sector trends, sharing insights to inform continuous improvement. product development and innovation.
About you:
- Strong appreciation for donors and their impact in achieving CPA’s mission.
- Tertiary qualification in Marketing or a related field (highly regarded).
- 3+ years’ experience in direct marketing, ideally within the not-for-profit sector.
- Proven project management, with the ability to develop and implement strategies and assess performance.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Solid understanding of direct marketing program success factors.
- Experience managing agencies, third-party suppliers and stakeholder relationships.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to build and develop internal and external relationships.
- Collaborative team player with a positive, can-do attitude.
- Computer literate using Microsoft packages and ability to analyse data and communicate impact results and impact to others.
