About the Role
The Donation Services Specialist is responsible for the accurate and timely processing, reconciliation, and recording of donations, ensuring strong data integrity and compliance across all fundraising activities.
Adopting a customer-focused and collaborative approach, the role maintains donor records, supports financial and operational reporting, and enables consistent donor acknowledgement and recognition in line with donor intent.
Manage the end-to-end batching and processing of all donations, including complex gifts, within Raiser’s Edge Database View and Raiser’s Edge NXT
Process donations received via multiple channels, including online platforms, mail, phone, walk-in, and cashier office
Work closely with the Foundation Finance Manager to ensure accurate financial alignment and integrity of records
Facilitate effective internal information flow between fundraising, finance, and other stakeholders
Perform regular reconciliation activities, including BBMS reconciliation and PreBank reporting
Your Contribution
Demonstrated experience in managing and maintaining CRM databases, preferably in a fundraising or non-profit setting.
Technical experience with Raiser’s Edge database and NXT is highly preferred but not required.
Strong proficiency with MS Excel and other MS Office Applications
Strong attention to detail, with a commitment to data integrity and compliance.
Strong ability to collaborate across departments is highly desired
Exceptional communication skills, relationship-oriented
Current National criminal history check, or willing to obtain/ Current NDIS Worker Screening Check, or willing to obtain (Select which is applicable)
