The Digital Products team is responsible for the design, build, and deployment of world class AI enabled products and solutions that empower a future ready workforce, drive efficiencies via automation and support implementation of newer business operating models for HP’s business. With a focus on Innovation, the group drives differentiation with architectural vision to consolidate, accelerate and simplify new technology adoption and deliver high value solutions that solve the pain points of all its stakeholders.

Role Overview:
We are seeking a Domain Solution Architect to act as the technical and strategic lead for AI-driven solutions within a defined business or technology domain. This role sits at the intersection of business strategy, AI innovation, and product delivery, collaborating closely with product managers, engineers, data scientists, and experience designers to define and implement scalable, high-impact solutions. You will translate domain knowledge into actionable architecture, ensure alignment with enterprise AI strategy, and enable teams to deliver measurable business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the domain expert, translating business and product requirements into technically robust AI solutions.
  • Partner with Product Strategists, Product Analysts, and Experience Designers to ensure solutions are feasible, desirable, and aligned with business goals.
  • Define and drive solution architecture standards, frameworks, and best practices for AI and data-driven applications.
  • Provide guidance to engineering squads on implementation, integration, and deployment of AI solutions.
  • Evaluate emerging technologies and tools, recommending innovative approaches to address domain challenges.
  • Mentor engineers and architects within your domain, fostering technical excellence and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Participate in product lifecycle discussions, from ideation and prototyping to production and scaling, ensuring architecture supports long-term growth.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across the enterprise to communicate solution vision, trade-offs, and roadmap implications.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or related field.
  • 7+ years of experience in solution architecture, AI/ML engineering, or software development.
  • Proven ability to design and implement enterprise-grade, scalable AI or data-driven solutions.
  • Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), AI/ML frameworks, and data architectures.
  • Deep domain expertise in a business vertical (e.g., healthcare, finance, manufacturing) or technical domain.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills, with experience working in cross-functional digital product teams.
  • Ability to balance long-term architectural vision with short-term product delivery needs.

Preferred:

  • Experience working in agile or squad-based product teams.
  • Familiarity with MLOps, DevOps, and CI/CD pipelines for AI/ML solutions.
  • Domain-specific certifications or recognized technical credentials.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this role is $116,150 to $182,400 USD annually with additional opportunities for pay in the form of bonus and/or equity (applies to United States of America candidates only). Pay varies by work location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
