Job Description:
Parsons is seeking a detail-oriented Document & Cost Controller (Saudi National) to join our project management team in Saudi Arabia. You will be responsible for the dual function of managing project documentation and monitoring project expenditures. Your primary goal is to ensure that all financial data is accurate and that project records are organized, accessible, and compliant with Parsons’ global standards and the specific requirements of the Kingdom’s Vision 2030 projects.
Cost Monitoring: Track project budgets, commitments, and expenditures. Prepare cost reports, cash flow forecasts, and variance analyses to keep leadership informed.
Document Management: Establish and maintain a systematic filing system for all project-related documents (contracts, drawings, invoices, and correspondence) using Electronic Document Management Systems (EDMS).
Invoice Processing: Review and verify sub-consultant and contractor invoices against project progress and contract terms before approval.
Change Management: Support the project manager in tracking change orders, trends, and claims, ensuring all financial impacts are documented.
Quality Control: Audit project documentation and financial records periodically to ensure compliance with Saudi National standards and internal ISO procedures.
Reporting: Generate weekly and monthly integrated reports that combine document status and cost performance (CPI/SPI).
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Civil Engineering, or Business Administration.
Experience: A minimum of 5 years of experience in cost control and document management, preferably within the construction or engineering industry in KSA.
Software Proficiency: Advanced skills in Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs) and experience with industry-standard software like Aconex, Primavera Unifier, or SAP.
Language: Fluency in Arabic and English (written and spoken).
Detail-Oriented: Exceptional accuracy in data entry and financial record-keeping.
Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
Knowledge: Familiarity with the Saudi Government Tender and Procurement Law is a significant advantage.
